L’analysant tourne ensuite le dos à la caméra dans la position confortable de son choix (assis ou allongé). Le patient reste sous le regard de l’analyste par le biais de la caméra pendant les 45 minutes de séance. L’analyste écoute son analysant dont les paroles lui parviennent par ses écouteurs, le micro dont il dispose lui donne la possibilité d’intervenir quand il le juge opportun tout comme il le ferait dans son cabinet. À la fin du temps imparti le patient se retourne face à l'analyste afin de clore </span><span class="text-class-1"><span style="color: windowtext;">la séance.
